You don't get good changing facilities, showers, nets, nice barmaids . and a fully stocked bar at the park mate. You do get dog shit, used needles and jakes though.

My vote is for the hired astroturf - the boys say it's a good venue. That's good enough for me.

Now we've got Mark and Rich on board we should have 14 players if Chris Fee brings 1 person with him.. now all i need to do is get the booking confirmed, but the centre isnt answering the phone!
We've been relocating all our kit to a new office, so this is the first time ive had today to get it booked. I'm gonna try again after lunch.

er.. it seems all the pitches for next wednesday went while i was busy this morning - that'll pay me to actually do anything at work!! :evil: :evil:

That means we either find another place to play next week, or if you're serious about playing.. theres a 5-a-side pitch available at 9pm.
Or, we could book it for another day.. just checked with them, they say the 7-a-side is available 9pm Monday, or 6:30pm Tuesday.. the 7-a-side isnt available any other day.

Last option, if another day is not acceptable, we put it off for another week and I BLOODY WELL MAKE SURE i book it!

ok.. if i book it for 6:30 Tuesday will everyone be able to make it? I need confirmations before i make a booking. If i get none by the end of the day, i'll put it off till next week unless someone comes up with an alternative.
