I thought it was good in parts but shit in others, its basically a pop idol for Dj's.

Being a "dj" seems to be the cool thing at the moment, itv have just jumped on the bandwagon and are trying commercialise a scene that isn cut out for commercialisation.

Think the trance kid was probably competing for Sister Bliss's vote

Who's your favorite mixer from the program??????

I like the black girl who's training with Mr C.

    Nice and tribal.

That Irish bird just looked plain silly behind the decks and sounded like a female John Kelly by playing "Chicken Heads" & "Renegade Master"

I've been watching this from the start, it's been well good. It's not really commercialising it when hardly anyone really knew about the programme in the first place. AND in the words of mixmag, "It's really actually quite good".

Ryan deserved to win he's been mint since the start.
Clouda has had her moments however she was rather fantastic last night.

Clouda was warming up for sister bliss last weeek at our very own Shindig.

I was dancing at Shindig with Clouda towards the end when Sister Bliss was playing. Thought she was that DJ Rebekkah playin downstairs cos upstairs was closed. Then realised who she was when I was watching the Joy of Decks the other nite.
I like her attitude and think either her or Ryan deserve it! Mind you she did go for it abit didn't she!! :cool2:

to put this argument to the grave i've just read that they had 30mins mix but telly only showed 1 mix. they arnt gonaa show the lot are they? Sometimes the telly was playing music that the dj's wern't at that time. They'd took a clip from one part of the set and put it with music from a different part.

Sorry for dragging up the past!

Although its not really enough time you can get quite a few mixes into half and hour. Once when I played two half an hour sets instead of an hour one I got 8 tunes into one and 9 into the other, didn't sound to bad either.
