    70% christians doesnt mean we are a christian country.... it says proportionately MORE people SAID they were christians.

    Secondly,.... how many people do you know go to church?.... Then ask yourself how many of the people around you would say they were christian on a cencus form when given a load of options? I bet you have about 1 person from answer ONE, and 10 people from answer TWO there.

    Ill wager that 90% of the people in this "so called" 70% of christians have never set foot in a church....

    I wonder how many people just say that because it's an easy answer. I've heard several people state their religion as christian in hospital even though they don't believe in god.

    I'm pretty sure that less than 50% of people in this country follow any faith and I feel that to decribe this country as 'christian' is very misleading.

    totally agree in fact it pisses me off as my family (parents and i used to be) are religious. I dont know why people think they are christian just becasue they were born in this country:(

    if thats the case then we need to start worrying about all the Jedi Knights who put "jedi" as their religion on these census forms aswell...... Imagine the devastation that we could face if a few jedi get pissed off.
