i'm very friendly with my work mates, go out occasionally for a night out, staff bar most fridays - join in with most stuff. 'Cept bowling. fuck that. no job is worth that. But then there's my clubbing mates - people who go out for the same reasons - music. if i went out with my work mates it would be a Sea/Baja/Boat type night. i've tried taking them to Promise ( a Lee Burridge Night) they said it was "very repetative"... boils my piss that. Almost as much as when our lass says "it's drug music - everyone there is on drugs." "shut up or i will kill you, ignorant bitch - get back to your will young CD" is my usual response.

Im glad theres people who want some separation between work life and "out of work" life - the way my lass went on, it was the best thing since sliced bread....

.... Alot of it is the london scene aswell, people down here tend to huddle in their work groups rather than actively seek people to get to know with outside of work... understandable though because everyone has no time for anyone else.

Its pretty sad, as much as i like my job - i'll leave it behind me at 5pm, when i leave the building thanks alot :) Cant stand people sitting about slagging off whoever isnt there at the time at work nights out ... i just want to pipe up and say "you wouldnt say that if they were here eh"...

Sleep with people you work with, it's 100% guaranteed to make your work days less boring.

Defo! I like to make friends with the sexy ladies! But I leave them behind at 5pm and go back to my significant other.

In reality! I think you know who you can and can't make friends with in the workplace. Some of my best mates have come from places I've worked. I just make sure I've a good working relationship with others. Leaving them behind at 5pm.
