    mosquitos in england?

Does anyone know if mosquito's are normally found in england? I just found a GIANT one on my window and caught it.

This might be coincedence but today I emptied a draw that was full of sari's and stuff I brought back from India in august...my dad is now freaking me out that I have a bedroom infested with giant mosquitos and their eggs

I react really badly to mozzy bites so I think i would have noticed if i had been bitten since last year.

so...anyone ever seen a mozzy in england?
