Most asylum seekers come here seeking a better life, some are instantly subject to awful racist abuse (not just by whites) and then are blamed for causing tension. Anyone proven to be a bogus asylum seeker should be straight out of the country. Anyone with even the slightest chance they are genuine should be given the benifit of the doubt, because I know if I made the decisions my conscience could not take people being sent home to face terrible circumstances.

You see that asylum seekers are not the problem they are made out to be? I wish they could live peacefully in their own countries, but while they can't we have a responsiblity to them... we wouldn't be able to call ourselves human if we just ignored them, its suposedly what makes us "civilised"

I disagree strongly with the amount of asylum seekers we let into our country, or at least the charity they are given. I'm not in the lishgtest bit racist, but I fail to see why these people can't work for a living, like a lot of the British public. I know there are many Asian/foreign immigrants who have come to this country, and worked hard, and made a good life for themselves, but there is, unfortunately, also a lot of people who do the opposite...
