I lived there last year and loved it - loads of takeaways, supermarkets nearby, charva lasses (?), close to toon, and I can go skating and break my arm in the park

Which park? Saltwell? or the pully park? You'll get knifed in the pully park

Saltwell Park's good for skating. The pully park is good for drinking white cider and deeing buckets.

Bensham is no worse than Fenham.

www.stud-lets.com found me some nice, cheap accomodation at short notice when my evil landlord sold princess towers mark one last year..

although i am no longer a student i like to live the dream, as does my bank balance..

I looked at a couple of right dumps today.

For the money they were asking, you dont expect the front door lock to be so knackered it wont shut, the bedroom to stink of piss and it to have no shower, and no furniture other than a bid and one knackered sofa.

erm I've only ever looked for flats and houses as opposed to rooms due to the fact I can't stand the majority of the human race and therefore have a select 'princess groomed' few who I live with

they are all ex students there so pretty understanding and should be able to fix u up

my flatmate jeff says some of the girls are fit too, bit raah, but fit.

Bensham/Ghead £35+

Pretty close, but I'd roughly say £60 - £65+ for Jesmond. £40+ for Fenham too.

Bensham is no worse than Fenham.

I live in Fenham - it's all reet apart from the massive gangs of charvas that gather in the park every evening, intimidating people......and the drug dealers who blatantly pull up in the car and have a big queue of people waiting to make purchases! *tsk* I'd wait until after dark and go to the dealers' house - do these people know nothing? LOL

oh - and I pay about 54 quid a week

there's good parts and really shiity parts of Fenham - I live next to the hospital, opposite a park - it's really not too bad.

My car got impounded I'm out of business now...
