North East Gig Guide is it the new tO? what is its purpose? anyone? not a dig, im merely showing interest.....
I think the guys who run it have a night at Clear Bar (next to Revolution, Newcastle) quite small site at the moment - think it's quite new....quite good though - and friendly
Re: North East Gig Guide this will do well, ran by some local lads with support from some big local names. Good luck
Re: North East Gig Guide No its not the new tO, couldnt be more different imo. The purpose of the site has already been explained, its for local promoters to promote their nights and for people like you and me to discuss those nights and anything else you want to talk about. Get yourself on there and you'll find out what were all about.
Re: Re: Re: Re: North East Gig Guide Nice one lads, bout time Danny done something useful I have some stuff I would like on but can't use the board. JP has just finished some remix work for Dave Seamen and also some other work for a Global Underground DVD. PM some details to you m8, will buy you a pint of you post it on my behalf
Scruf, Think the name North East Gig Guide is fairly self explanatory no? To be honest, there is a lot more focus on clubbing on the site than bands/gigs but the door is always open for people in bands to use the site. Its 'purpose' is to help people find out what is going on in the region. Promoters can promote for free on the messageboard and we also have special feautures in the news section on upcoming nights. There is a photo gallery of nights out in the region. There is also free downloads. With a promise to let local talent showcase their music. Was over the moon, that Scott Bradford of Shindig helped out for the first one, and also have a wicked mix from Paul Lancaster now aswell. Check them out. There will be regular features aswell. Scott Bradford interview was the first one. One of the top dj's in the world has also agreed to do the next one, so keep an eye out for that aswell. As the lads said we now have a residency at Clear. Get ya self down on Sunday! I dont really get your point it was is its purpose? Think its quite obvious if you check the site out.
