    That you baldy?

Was in Tokyo on Friday, was cool. Mr. Eltringham was playing some decent acid too. Was funny watching the try-hards dance to Derrick May records like they were Hed Kandi anthems too ;)

That's only the second time I've been in, the time before was the bank holiday Sunday in August and there wsa no DJ, just Rob playing CDs.

'tis a nice bar. Which is why I'm very surprised they booked you Daly.

Tom, i was gonna start the very same thread. U beat me to it! :p

Absolute nobs. Why didnt they want are business? Doubt il bother goin back. None of us were remotely pissed either. We had just started out!

U went towards the door first like Tom. Obv didnt like the look of ya!

Only other places in town ive been turned back for trainers was Chase on Clare (Flutterbyes) birthday summer last year. About 6 or 7 of them walked in, all in trainers. Me and Rat arrived 10 mins later cos we popped into Vuzz on the way. "Sorry, no trainers". :spangled: Been there loads of times before and since with no bother.

Other place is The Lodge. Was before Promise, mebs about a year ago. Think there was me, Rat, Batfink, Jimmy, and a couple of others. "No trainers" Im sure ive tried one other time more recently at The Lodge with same response.

Why turn away good business? We are clearly not twats. :monkey:

I cant understand how they will let anyone in wearing a battered pair of old loafers yet turn away someone thats far better dressed wearing a pair of brand new trainers?? Surely they should just use thier discretion.

More than likely the type of place where they have a NO TRAINER rule on the door is the type of place I wouldnt want to be in anyway.
