Urgent Help Needed

I have a powerbook g4 and bt broadband...

...it comes with firewall stuff but i'm not sure how good it is, i think i might have a virus but i couldnt be sure. What anti virus stuff should i get and what should i really be prepared to pay for it?

I have Mac OSX and OS 9

There's norton anti virus software on ebay for £14.98 but i'm not sure it's any good for me

dont pay for any anti virus software, u can get it free, try AVG its free from their site.
if ur using Internet Explorer, get rid of it an use firefox instead

i'm not very computer literate so will u be able to guide me if i get stuck?

Ok i downloaded it as instructed, it's put a file on my desktop thats just pages of squigles, i cant find anything else

If your running a Mac and using Internet Explorer, ditch I.E and get using Safari.

can i still use msn hotmail etc on safari?
