The centre is too touristy and hence expensive, try to head out and explore as much as possible. Very worthwhile.

Get stuck in to the Becherovka and the plum brandy. Proper rocket fuel.

As for gear - there seemed to be loads of absolutely vile pervatin knocking around the clubs when we last played over there. That'll keep your mates busy...

me and my mate went to prague for a girls weekend

had a great time, only went to one club which I can't remember the name of but was over 5 floors, apparently the biggest in mainland europe. It was r and b night, lots of stag parties but we had a good laugh.

The traditional food was nice but more for the meat eaters i.e. lots of sausages and dumplins, but there were loads of different kinds of places to eat, tapas, sushi etc.

we stayed on a botel which was basic but v cheap, got it through eurocheapohotels.com

didn't indulge in anything other than absinthe and beer, as it was so cheap it seemed a shame not to.

best part of the trip was getting a bus to the open air swimming pool and floating about in the sun, good comedown activity if things do go that way..

haha we went there. except it was like an old school rave when we went. booming eurotrance and sweaty pilled up locals of the worst kind . still, we raved it up for a bit before moving on due to some bother.

I went to that club with all the floors, isnt it under the arch where the trams go ?!?!

It was the one where i stumbled off :spangled: on me tod and managed to find some room only to hear "Nu NRG - Dreamland" and it was there i stayed for the rest of the night :D

I also managed to fall asleep in the DJ booth which was up some height after smoking the residents :chill: when all he wanted was a light

That was our first night out that, quality times :D

Thanks for the info people! Anyone know how to keep warm though, we're going in 2 weeks, and this weekend it's -12.  We're staying in a 4* hotel though, with swimming pools, casino's etc, so probably won't end up leaving there!

Dont wear Really thick clothes, wear a few layers....they keep the warmth trapped between the layers.

My sister went to prague with her bf 2 weeks ago and had a class time  really cheer  and meant to be really really nice aswell!
