Whoooooooooooooooo jsut got my mam to open my letter for me and I'm down to the last 7 at Northern Rock!!!!Get in, really didn't think I had done well enough to get through

Have an interview on Wednesday at 12.30 lasting an hour

The hours of work are horrendous though, 7.15-8 at the latest till about 4 or 5 every day

It's a mint feeling like, especially as I didn't think I had done well enough in the assessment centre, so I got mam to open the letter expecting it to be a rejection, makes it feel better somehow!!

I'm not sure if it's 500 applciants for every vacancy but they did say something about 500 applications so i'm quite surprised really. They also said if you get to this stage and they don't think you're quite suitable for the treasury, chances are they'll try and find you a job somewhere else

Only thing I'm a bit worried about is that if I am to get it it says you need a 2:1 and I'm not sure I'm going to get that, so hoping that cos I've done everything else well they'll still take me, if I were to get it like

7.15-4 every day? i bet it's monday-friday too. Pah!

i work 7-6 or later and sometimes six days a week, and normally dont get days off at weekends.

congrats chuck, those hours arent too bad. My workplace is open 7am-10:15pm 365 days a year! having to work 7-5 tommor and sunday, n its only a call centre!!!!!!:bang:

I'm jsut used to doing a couple of hours a day at uni, and even then I wouldn't class it as work
