    The Cumberland Arms and the Cluny down the tyne valley are both cool for a sunny afternoon, Hancock is pretty good if yer in town as well.

    Times Square - about the only place in the town centre where you can sit outside without being next to a main road.

    Other than that, there's the Telegraph, The Cluny, Free Trade. Basically anywhere you're not breathing in traffic fumes.

    black bull, yarm. even got a bar and a toilet block outside so you don't have to fight your way back inside once it gets busy.

    not until 7 / 8 ish though when it really starts to get busy. plus my mate is the assistant manager there... so mates rates always apply. ;)
