my gf is one of my mates and i/we still hang around with my mates almost as much as i would do if i was single...

I see where you're coming from, I am seen by all of my mates as one of the lads, I probably should have been a lad in all fairness, and all of my mates are lads, so I can always get on with my bf's mates and generally get on well with them. I do understand boys need their boys nights out n stuff, but I can happily go along and not be all lvoey dovey and generally have a good time with them, which is probably a better thing cos it shows how you cna get on well
