rip off corner shops!!

    rip off corner shops!!

    just been round the shop for bottle of lucozade, price on side of bottle says 69p....... price according to proprietor 99p, argument follows... price paid.... 99p.
    gutted but next nearest shop 10 min drive away! anyone else been ripped like this??

    whatever it says on the item is what they charge regardless if it's thw wrong price, i was in a shop and a top had 2 prices on so obviously i took the more expensive one off and the woman at the counter said oh thats the wrong price but she had to charge me the price that was on the top, so get on the phone to trading standards and get him closed down!!

    when we were little we bought lots of pop, drank it, then mixed up paint water and sold it for 5p less than we bought it. :)

    then a woman came past and bought some for her granddaughter who had been ill that day. :(

    we didnt have the heart to tell her :(

    speaking of being ripped off in woolworths they charge 45p for them tiny cans of pop u used to b able to get for 17p :eek: :tut:

    The bloke in a corner shop near mine used to rip us off all the time (it started with charging 3p for penny chews and escalated from there..) so to get revenge, when we used to hold up the ice creams/lollies to ask the price, when he'd answered and turned away we'd crush them. :oops:
