The original point was foriegners working in call centres and annoying the fuck out of you coz they dont know what to do or say to you whilst on the phone.

Now i know that British people are known to be lazy as fuck and cba to do anything whilst slobbing abroad but I cant see many being stupid enough to work in a foriegn call centre without speaking the native tongue!

But i was saying that people moan cos foriegner move here and dont learn English or try to blend into out society when we are doing it just as much

I have had no problems with these call centres, maybe you should get your ears checked out ??

My hearing is fine, I don't need to get my ears checked out, I simply don't speak to them. If I know its a call centre i simply hang up the phone regardless. If its important they will send me a fucking letter which i can understand.

Plus just because you don't have a problem with something does not mean everyone else should agree with you.

The call centres move there so i dont really see the point in saying

"are there any fucking english people left in this country"

sounds to me like you dont like foreign people, each to there own, i like to chat to people in India and places like that makes a refreshing change and they are very friendly people

speak to people in India who speak good english or very bad english or in Indian??

Some of them speak better english than some scousers or cockneys who i cant understand My Indian is a bit rusty tho

For a start you don't even know my nationality so your jumping the gun.

I don't mind foriegn people but if I have a problem and needed to say call the bank I would expect a high level of service and broken english from a foriegn call centre does not meet this high level of service.

As for them calling me, I covered that.

Hmm if i ring my bank (lloyds) during the day i get a english person but they coudl nto afford to pay english staff 24/7 so if i call them out of hours which i have many times i always get an indian and i have to say i have never had a problem understanding them, maybe you have been unlucky, but please don ttar all call centers with the same brush just cos you have had a bad experince. If you ran your own company and had to choose between paying a brit £6+ an hour or somebody say £20 a week i know what you would go for

natwest are brilliant never spoken to a foreigner yet...... best bank like by far!

Yep, I'd rather keep the money in the country and give someone British/British resident the job.
I have a sense of National Pride.
Also banks make an absolute fortune so I dont see why they have to contract the work out to another country. If times are that hard for them then they should become an Indian bank rolleyes: ) or bloody close.

Most likely because the call centres are not located in our country.

nat west are excellent, you can even call your branch NOT A MONKEY CENTRE. They dont rip you off like money grabbing Barclays either

i know i moved from there to natwest as they are ace!!

Would be nice to call the branch like the good old days
