Mini Ipods It might sound stupid but, I know a couple of people have these, and I just wondered how many songs you have on yours? Just I only recently got mine and added some stuff on, I had a total of about 590 files, obviously some sets and some longer than others etc. Then Itunes told me my ipod was full and could fit no more on it. Does this sound about right? It might sound silly but im not good with things like this I just expected to get a lot more on than that, but then again some sets are an hour and some songs 8 or 9 minutes long and stuff. What I decided to do was wipe the whole Ipod and only add things I really wanted on, if it was only going to hold around that much cos I had a lot of old stuff on I didnt really listen to.
I bought my lass one last year for her bday.. Seems to fit a canny bit on.. not sure exactly how much.. I'll post l8r.. One thing I did notice was the length of charge the battery holds.. its tremendously short
My battery is okay actually, although I do know my friend had a lot of problems with hers, she took it back and was told Apple have admitted it is a common fault with Ipod minis as the demand was so high for them they sent them out earlier than they should have - resulting in the battery not being as up to standard as it should be - How shit is that...
Its gonna depend on the size of the tracks and the bitrate they are encoded at then. My way of thinking is that you cant possibly listen to all that music anyways so its best to just put on what you need
Yeah I suppose when Ipod said 1500 songs they mint 2.30 minute pop songs to be fair. Your right though im just gonna put on things I need.
At the moment mine only has 215 files on but loads of them are sets. Those 215 files come to 3.7 GB though and itunes says ive got 42MB free. Are you using itunes to organise your music? Ive got my ipod divided into four playlists,im always taking things off and adding new things on.
I use Itunes yeah My friend said when you have it sorted into playlists it takes up more memory? I duno if thats true or not. Basically now I think about it, thats probably right. I must have at least I duno, a good amount of sets on it and most tunes are about 8 mins long!!
No way am I embarassed!! It says on the side of the box that it means songs that are round about 3 and a half minutes long so with big sets and stuff that probably does make sense
