    Dishwashers

the washing up in our house is becoming a joke , it has become a complete battle of wills where noone is admitting defeat

Is it possible to run a little dishwasher through the taps on the sink or does it have to be properly installed??

    Washing up

Dishwashers are ok but tbh sometimes they dont get it all clean and you end up washing it by hand anyway

You're better off installing it mate, the manual that came with ours says it must have a permanent connection to the supply.

I am getting a new kitchen installed right as we chat.

I made a contract with the missus that I would never have to wash a dish again if I got her a dishwasher.

It was the first thing on the list.

dish washers are expensive to run and i cant see how they would work in shared accom, you would have the house idiot putting it on to wash 2 forks and plate...

the best way i have found of sorting out the washing up in a shared accom is to have seperate washing up bowls (leave them on the floor in kitchen somewhere) for each person, and then each person puts what they use in that bowl... therefore the main sink stays empty and useable to prepare food ect...

yeah it has shocked me just how uncivilised young people are, they cant look after theirselfs and keep basic hygiene. its childish but the only way to create rotas and make people stick to em...

even taking the bin out is too much for some people.... and washing the toilet OH MY GOD HAVEN'T WE GOT A ASYLUM SEEKER WHO CAN DO THIS????

its bad up bringing in imo, my parents used to make me clean and tidy and do the pots and help with all the chores, so now i just do it by habit.

I'm glad my parents forced me to help out.
