I spent two and a half days at a company called blurb direct, where you had to cold call people and tell them they had won a free phone, all they had to do was sign to a 12 month one2one contract.

I hated it, was so fed up by the end of the day of having people shout at you and didnt sell a single phone

Life guard at a local swimming pool ...sounded like a great idea at the time ...very baywatch, but the job included cleaning the toilets. How it is possible for a human to produce some of the things i saw in those toilets i'll never know!!

GNER telesales... unbelievably dull and full of jobsworths. talking to cretins who couldnt tell their arse from their elbow all day and clearing up national rail enquiries messes  dont think i could work in another call center with the patronising 'team ethic' and management speak with eejits holding jobs that make them think they are actually important when really they are anal warts for the company to pick and flick.

my currant jobs at fenwicks is pretty bad... im jacking it in because they offer barely any worthwhile training and im chucked on departments i have no knowledge of. at christmas it can be frustrating as you never get a moments peace... when you dont know all the ins and outs it makes the place look amature... thay really need to sort that out cos im not the only one in that boat. plus there is no staff discount for casual staff and the pay is shite. talk about feeling like a valued employee

Short shorts and a t-shirt i'm afraid .... another disappointment!!

However during our mixed training sessions, i was often chosen as the one to be strapped onto the spine board (needed in case a diver suffered any kind of spinal injury) .... lets just say it was extremely cold in the pool and my costume didn't cover up everything.

Come to think of it, those training sessions were almost as bad as having to go near thre toilets :(

I once a bit of crap work at a bird seed factory. My task was to put together the packaging. . .

    - Get a lid from one huge box full of lids

    - Get a piece card board (circle shaped)

    - Put card board in the lid

    - Repeat till home time

Literally that is what I did all day. I didn't even have anybody around me to talk to, seriously depressing.

Worked @ First Sport at the Metrocentre

The shittest job ever(apart from the next one), and they were quite happy to keep you back at the end of your shift without paying you.

Glass collector @ The 'Trades', Consett

Clearing up broken glass all night, then cleaning out the loos. Worst sight I had ever seen (to quote my mate who saw it first) was a ladies cubicle, that looked like "a girl had given birth and smeared it all over the walls"
