God knows! I honestly can't remember. I guess I kind of grew into it as clubbing has grown. Started listening to it in about 1987, and gradually got more and more into it.

me fella. Took me to see oakie @ sugarshack in June 99 & I was hooked on the people n atmosphere n the poeple who didnt dress in white high heels - i'd already loved the music (well, i used to adore ministry CD's) but i'd just never been clubbin (thankfully - coz before that I was perfectly happy with 42 in Hartlepool!) I'd only been to sugarshack that once then I went to Creamfields that august & then there was no stopping me!!!!

always enjoyed dancing, used to love the rave scene years ago, since then i alwats wanted to be a dj, loved the music, taught myself, played at parties, grew with the culture whilst my friends around me enjoyed the more indie and rock side but i stayed faithful. I remember being the only one in the sixth form almost to be into dance music. I even used to go to sleep with my headphones on listening to bloody hardcore!!!! how i dont know!
Just used to keep getting these rushes down the back and neck making my hairs stand on end when i heard a great tune or great point in a tune - hooked, no need for drugs or anything!
this was my turning point - what i now call a technoOrgasm.

i still go to sleep listening to music, not as hard now like.

When i was 14ish listened to some live broadcasts on radio! Ferry Corsten was first one I heard I think - still have the tape somewhere. Dropped Armin - Communication and I loved it back then. Started going to Legends after that and just grew from there!

I first got into dance music when I was at Primary School and I used to get all these tapes off my cousins with loads of acid house and early house on them. The tapes were pretty much the kind of stuff that was getting played at the Hacienda I think cause I remember Voodoo Ray was on them and French Kiss by Lil Louis.

Then I went off on a tangent and started listening to ahem Hardcore when I went to the big school. I started listening to house and trance in about year 10 and then just started going to Legends on a Thursday for classics night and then just going out any time I could.

I then decided to go to Shindig as my first big experience to see Alistair Whitehead and then I ventured to Promise to see Seb Fontaine. Since that I been loving dance music again.

Only got into trance really after going to see Tiesto at the uni in March, then went to Scott Bond at Promise 2 days after and have really really got into everything since then. My tastes have got harder and harder in the short time i've been into it all ;)
