He killed it at the last Gods but he keeps/kept getting added to trance line ups and he doesnt play frigging Trance or anything close to it

I'm sure at a night with the same music policy as him he'd go down well cause he's a good Dj.... when he's sober :p

    Fergi at the 'dig?!?!

WOW - he must have changed!!!

i know he's been getting panned alot recently... i ain't heard him for a long time - well... May 04 i think.... i remember pontape.... i'm sure all the techno-purists HATE him and he's probably been disowned by the Harder generation... he's in an unusual position...

i always used to really like him....

Yeah, he did kill it @ Gods but, if they'd put any other dj who plays his style or similar (no matter how good they were) they'd of probs done the same....

He's playing some alright tunes recently on his show though:

    e.g.

The Egg- 'Walking Away' (Tocadisco Mix) (Gusto)
Metric & Bogstandard- 'Spilt Milk' (Half Vox Mix) (Spinout)
Mark Knight- 'Insatiable' (MYNC Mix) (Toolroom)
    Chris Lake- 'Release' (Rising)
Harold Heath- 'Be My Friend' (James Talk Mix) (CDR)
Gavin Herlihy- 'Machine Ate My Homework' (White)
Layo & Bushwhacka!- 'Life 2 Live' (Olmetto)
Alex Smoke- 'Meany' (Mix 2) (Soma)
    Tom Pooks- 'Jocker' (Intec)
    Tony Thomas- 'Skipper' (Cubic)
DJ Delicious - 'Let It Drop' [Henrik B Remix] (Size)
Nynex & Trent Cantrelle - 'Goodbye' [Ben Macklin & Stretch Slyvester Remix] (Sr2)
Francois Dubios - 'Blood' [Andy Cato Remix] (Urbantorque)
Sucker DJs - ' Bombay Saphire' (Whoop)
Paolo Modjo - '1982' [Eric Prydz Remix] (Pryda Friends)
Lutzenkirchen - 'Daily Disco' [Boyz Noiz Mix] (CDR)
Bodzin & Huntemann - 'Cheap Tricks' (Data Punks)
Hardcell & Grindvik - 'Salt' (Drumcode)
Joris Vorn - 'MPX 309' (Green)
John Acquaviva & Madox - 'Feedback' [Valentino Kanzyani Remix] (Mantra)
    Sharpside - 'Space Cruising' (Rotation)
    Duoteque - 'Ahdry' (Boxer)

Too unpredictable if you ask me, saw him play good at Promise but he has a habit of playing long boring FX noise techno breakdowns that end up sounding shit when they eventually kick in.

Far better techno DJ's out there, I wouldn't waste my time.

I wouldn't risk booking him, i've seen him play class before but I reckon he's too much of a liability.

He should do a long set at Shindig - show everyone a little thing about set progression.

I've heard him play some class techno sets, but haven't heard a good report about him for ages. I'd say he's a risky booking, bit like getting Gazza for an after dinner speach, you just don't know what state he'll arrive in

I seen him at nation play in the techno room and he was fantastic, same when i seen him play promise the first time, but then i seen him at global in the trance tent where tbh he couldn't do anything but anthem bash with the slot given. Not sure how he'd go down at the dig, either way if the regulars didn't go there would still be loads of ex promise punters who would show. :)

he played the best set i've ever seen at the end, god knows how anyone could keep a set flowing and a full crowd for 7 hours, they even left the club open an extra hour he was that good. :D
