Ain't it about time Kerry James played at Promise? At the Sunday Trading World DJ Day / post GKParty, Rob Tissera and Madders from Sundissential dropped in for a quick JD&coke with a host of djworld type mates. They ended up staying the whole day and night, right to the end, and thanked us for a brilliant time. Now, if they like it, you know you'll like it too. The point is, if Kerry James can pool 17% of the poll for GK, and get the thumbs up from red hot djs and promoters around the country, why does she not pop up at Promise once in a while? (and i mean playing on the decks rather than playing on the dance floor.) She would do the last hour incredible justice!
Kerry mark and helen talk... I'm sure if the oppertunity arises mark will be the first to book kerry... but.... promise isn't a hard house club.
I am sure Kerry would be the first to admit that her sound isn't really what Promise are doing at the moment. That's not to say that she wouldn't like to play though, as I think any DJ would!
DEFO think she should play in promise we dont have any good hard house nights in newcastle at mo (cant wait for solid on 28th)
Yeah i'm all up for her playing at the club cos her talent is unquestionable but promise is not a hard house club, and hoepfully wont become one, so if she changed her style for her performance then i would be all for it...
why not have a one off hardhouse night in the backroom?? for example on the birthday.. or on a classics night?? i would deffo be intrested
but if i rememebr rightly promise and the vibe have a healthy relationship anyway dont they ie: the promise boat which was class!! so whenever opp pops up for HH alternative vibe will be in there!! i guess!!
