I know what you're saying!! I knew from point one they shouldn't have sent that "Beagle" (shit name) thing out they'd only embarras us...and so they have!! Stupid piece of shit got into space then decided not to fucking respond. Bet they got a load of charva workmen to build the thing! Though on the news tonight was about the ESA (European Space Agency) who found ice on Mars. Though I bet that American rover thingy pops along and finds it's just like white rocks or where Beagle crashed
When they say they have tried to find "Beagle2" all I can think of: Colin Pillinger walking around shouting " BEAGLE " really loud. NASA lost contact with Mars Spirit rover & regained contact today. No doubt they had billions of $s worth of technology helping them do this.
I think our technique of contact was attaching a piece of string to the thing and when we thought it was at Mars we tugged on the string and it would tug back. Damn clever bastards we are!! It's also annoying to see that we can't send ONE probe up successfully while Georgey Bush over there is planning a Moon Station and sending people to Mars!!
really? the managment of nasa is a total embarrasment to the US at the moment... similar to the way the MoD is being run...
U have to remember tho, those space rover american thingies costs over 380 million to make, minus the cost of the satellite, the Beagle cost only 35 million, what do u expect? If it had worked it would have been hilarious watching the americans cringe
