Anyone have an Acer Aspire 1350 laptop? drivers needed...

ok i have an acer aspire 1350 laptop an formatted the hard drive, got the drivers from the acer site when we were putting everything back on... only problem is i have a "PCI simple communications controller" and the drivers supplier on the sit are for a mini PCI controller - which doesn't work for my hardware.

the 'helpdesk' said i do have the mini one cos all acer aspire 1350's do, but my laptop is telling me this is not the case!

had a look online but cannot find anything

any1 on here have one that i could try their driver for? incase they too have the normal one and not the mini?

if not is there anything i can do??

or am i ducked?

"PCI simple communications controller" is usually the modem.

All i can think of is try the 1300 maybe....

yeah tried everything on the normal site and the ftp site...

will have a look at the 1300 to see if that works... its the wireless card slot thingy which doesn't work...

definately an internal modem.

I'd extract EVERYTHING into 1 folder - then let windows search that foder and see if finds anything it likes...

thanks man... think i'll let my techy mate do that cos i'd probs manage to mess it up and break my computer or something lol
