    Anyone into foreign movies?

    and not the blue ones :lol:

    Stuff like Oldboy, Ong Bak and cartoons like manga things and Final Fantasy?

    manga films rock! - akira, fist of the north star, ninja scroll 1 +2, street fighter etc are all class :up:

    got the manga box selection, just got hold of ghost in the shell 2 aswell which looks good.

    :up: nice one - am skint at the min, so i was nearly crying when i walked into hmv in the metrocentre a few weeks a go and they had loads of manga going cheep on dvd for like £5 :cry:

    Used to watch manga when i was younger. Stuff that i liked was

    Street Fighter 2 the Movie (Chunlis perfect cartoon titties)
    Akira
    Patlabor 1 + 2
    Appleseed
    Robotech
    Bubblegum Crisis
    Legend of the Overfiend (strange rape scenes lol)
    Dominion Tank Police

    all of which are pretty fun to watch

    Street fighter totally rocks. Seeing Vega get his face mashed up...

    What about movies?

    Ive got Hero, Kairo, Seven Swords, Night Watch & Day Watch - Night Watch 2 to watch sometime that all look very good.

    Is night watch a russian film which is being realised as a trilogy??

    I think it was in the cinema a couple of months ago??

    Ghost in the shell is awesome. Currently watching a lot of far eastern cinema, not by choice though, although I am growing to like it, the horrors are much more psychological and scary.

    some of my mates back home love that film, i keep forgetting to rent it.

    my favourite foreign films are without doubt la haine which would always be in my top 5 all time list, city of god was a great watch, and last but not least asian anal hookers.
