I'd just like to say these people do get a lot of shit because there is a problem in the UK at the moment but i have been out for a drink tonight with some friends, one of them works with an Albanian asylum seeker (who has lived here for 4 years) and was out with us, what he told me moved me and changed my views on this whole thing.

His Auntie/Uncle were heads of parliment where he lived and in an election they were voted out... instead of just standing down as you'd expect they were assassinated. Not only them but most of his family! Him, his Sisters and Auntie would have been next had they not have come to the UK!

Harsh stuff to go through & he is only 20 now

This is a touchy subject on here, all ya have ta do is trawl through the countless other threads on the subject!

I have met several asylum seekers and they have been displaced by unfortunate and terrible circumstances. Of course there are bad ones and bogus ones, but in the long run its worth it because we are helping a lot of genuinly troubled people. They are not the economical drain or social menace they are often made out to be.

I will happily pay taxes to help people who, to be honest, have been dealt a shitty deal

TO ESCAPE OPPRESSION ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LEAVE THE COUNTRY IN WHICH YOUR SUFFERING IT, THESE FREELOADERS CROSS ABOUT 20 FRIENDLY COUNTRIES BEFORE THE REACH THE GOLDEN SHORES OF THE UK.

Lets setup a Church Of England in Iraq/Baghdad/Pakistan/India/Afghanastan and see what the reaction is there
