Back to Basics Just returned from a weekend of full scale madness at fave club Back To Basics in Leeds. Was their last party at The Mint before they open their new venue in August and it was amazing. Yousef was awsome and it all spiralled on 'til 10am on Sunday. Proper mess, perfect club - despite the bitching heat, there were still people queueing to get in as we were leaving!
not my thing, but i would have liked to have been there just for the atmosphere! i bet it was amazing! lucky bar steward.

GET IN! haven't been to basics since it was at the pleasure rooms! that must be a good 6-7 years ago. love to go back coz it was mint! went to uni in leeds and used to go to up yer ronson on the friday too, and wednesdays at the warehouse were usually class. have to go clubbin in leeds again soon.
The last time I went to back to basics it was a proper mint night, not quite sure about the mixed sex toilets though and nearly walked into the mirrored wall a few times!! Do they still have the polo mint shaped stools and the evian bottle tables and chairs in the chill out bit??
yeah those polo mint chairs are still there, except they make you feel like you're on the toilet Fuck, Ness, you must have seen some proper back in the day action. Ralph Lawson and James Holroyd were dropping some proper Leeds anthems, loads of stuff off Warp. LFO - Mint!!!
lmao!!! i walked into the mirror, got confused at the person standing in my way - so tried to walk forward again.....& again got comfused & nearly tried it for the 3rd time till this bloke said - "ere luv, u really love yourself dont ya?!" was ellish! but yes - B2B is mint. (mint - gedit?! )
