    Breaks music in trance sets

Massive fan of this now, never used to like them as i thought they took the energy out of mixes, not anymore.

PVD, Downey and Askew the main exponents of it, adds something a bit extra to a set.

i do like a bit breaks to knock it about a bit, but i dont agree with the breaks remix of breathing that sheridan used to HAMMER last year/year before.

It has to be good breaks, i can't believe you've mentioned sheridan, he doesn't even play trance anymore. More like electro house at 145 bpm.

Van Dyk's been doing this for years. The rest are just copy cats.

Unless it was a new mix then i can't believe you don't like it.

The Breaks Dub of Breathing is unreal and goes perfectly in a trance set, i even prefer it to Airwave. It's a fantastic peice of music.

yeah, it is - but there was a string of events i went to when adam sheridan was playing.... and he overkilled it.

so he's killed it for me.

As mentioned Van Dyk has always included breaks into his sets and it always works really well. Breaks a set up nicely aslong as its the right track.
