HIC is the best by far IMO...

im 21, no no claims and have 6 points for speeding, and am driving a canny powerful car (well i like to think it is!) and i'm only paying £950 TPFT

my jaw nearly dropped when I got my quote and its the best quote i've had, and even beat elephant.co.uk which takes some beating, believe me!

Hope this helps. If you want the number I can get it for you.

you are having a laugh im sure

im 19 just passed my test, 1.2 corsa living in what they would class as city centre, my quote from zurich summat like

    £2800

    i mean for fucks sake!
cheapest one i got was from tesco, but other than that diamond 10month gets you 1year NCB when you do it. :D

im at work at the minute, will post the phone number later tonight.

PS whoever bought a 10month accelerator thingy i wouldnt bother, you can only use it with that specific company, and for the second year insurance they have the chance to absolutely rape you, and if u decide to not take them up on the 2nd year, your back to square one with the no claims with a different company.

there;s also things you can change to get (legally) cheaper insurance. i'm a man in the know! )

but because im so young the insurance with anybody else will be sky high, so i say ill stick with diamond for a few year then change over to a company where you get loads of ncb.

and i have got no one who i can put as a second driver, and im not prepared to say im married.

what are the other tricks? move? get a shit car? take alloys off?

sad to c them go :(
  16. Guest

you must have someone you can put 2nd driver! (i havent, didnt change my quote at all. does lower it considerably with elephant though!)

i said i am doing limited to 9,000 miles a yr, which is uncheckable.
the alloys mean FA and neither does having a shit car. mine has alloys as standard and has a big engine.

not enough ppl shop about for their insurance IMO. many ppl can get better deals if they shopped about.
