the temp gauge in me car (2004 corsa) is rising to about 3 quarters and then comes back down to halfway and then back up again, does this mean the radiators on its way out? or do i just need to add/replace coolant??? or is it just because i havent driven it for about a month?? as you can probably tell i know naff all about cars :p any help is mucho apreciated :)

Check your coolant level in the expansion tank under your bonnet. Usually it's full of a blue or pink liquid. Look for the warning symbol on the bottle indicating it's hot and pressurised and you've found the right one.

There should be a minimum and a maximum level marked out on the side, your coolant should be between these two levels. If it isn't, top it up with water or extra coolant.

hugging trees , if you dont like it , fuck off , i
air trapped possibly - maybe like above says , check ya levals , top up and just let it tick over.

also 2 things i learnt back in the years of being skint -

1 - put ya heaters on full blast to avoid overheating when u cant afford to fix

2 - check the oil cap for spunky cheese if your selling the car and the eads gone :)
