But they were 1-0 down to begin with?

They came back, but we came back stronger. The only sub we made was Shola for Butt?
I agree tho, if the rumours surrounding further players are true then were not gunna look to pretty going into Xmas before the transfer window opens again.

jonas came on aswell, i didnt think we looked good, and when all of our players leave in the next week which they will no doubt i think we will really struggle even with the players we have

tim krul had an awful game, going for every ball, our defence was shocking and our midfield play wasnt the best like

i wouldn't say a 4-3 win against huddersfield was a good result mind. i only watched the highlights but tim krul looked awful. megged for their first goal and then at fault for their second.

in fairness we played a very weak team, however if the players who are expected to do actually leave this weekend, that could actually be our first team for the next few months.

we need a hell of a lot of new players if we're to survive this year.

Huddersfield played against a possible 8 players from our 2nd team & we came back from being 3-1 down to win 4-3?

Think positive. The cup is half full fella's. :)

It was one of the most blatent dives I have ever seen. I was in line with it, directly in front of me & there was more contact in the Eduardo penalty than that

He was at fault for the first & third tho, far too slow off his line

I dont think we played too badly, first time that defence has played together so it was bound to have some mistakes in it

I just think it shows how far we have come in competitive matches in recent times, last season if we had gone 3-1 down or even 1-0 down, we would have thrown the towel in

When was the last time you seen Newcastle go behind against anyone & put any sort of effort in to getting it back? More positives than negatives in my eyes like

the bbc neglected to show that bit.

we did play a very young and inexperienced team, and positives have to be taken from our comeback (especially geremi scoring!), but going 3-1 down to lower league opposition has to indicate the need for strengthening the squad. if we start picking up our usually batch of season-long injuries, i'm not sure how happy i'd be for some of wednesday's squad to step up.

No one has even mentioned it, it was shocking!

Nufc.com has put a bit of a downer on Mondays game, Nile Ranger is our only fit striker. Shola & Jonas picked up knocks. Barton & Carroll are doubtful

Squad is looking very thin after only 4/5 games

Peterborough away in the next round.

I've been to Peterborough away in the FA cup back in 2002, won 4-2. The place was grim though. We had a good side then, even if they did struggle to beat the posh. Think it was the 2nd team in the majority though. Anyone remember Jamie Mclen?
