haha ok,, well the 500 is an old mixer with the 600 being the newer , the 600 has a few more beat effects and is much generaly much much easier to use compared to the 500,, it aslo has a time parameter nob thats exelent when using certain effects aswell,, it also has parameter butons to switch the time scal of the affects which u cant do with the 500,, also has a sampler which can be used as a loop.. its just a much much better mixer and evry1 wud agree..

i am now a technical nerd!!

one doesnt need the expensive pointless mixers with all the extras you just dont use . 600 is always been an easy mixer to use...why complicate things when all you got to do is play good music :)

the tascam i have was the first digital mixer to be released, same spec as djm800 if not more.. just the faders arent very responsive and it never flew off the shelfs:monkey:

djm600 good nick + cash or turntables or your granny (what have you got)?

or just a plain sale of 500 golden coins

i never said get a mixer with loads of effects on, just get a better mixer. The denon dnx1500 is loads better than the djm600 imo (and cheaper) or get an allen and heath

a gess its all opinions like but the djm 600 is a quality mixer it works with the cdj's and efx briliantly,, its your standard mixer in any decent club just like 12-10's are you standard turn table.

all i can do is the straight swop like,, had a word with my granny and she duznt seem game

who gives a fuck what clubs this mixer is in?

this is someone's bedroom/studio setup we're talking about, not earl grey's recreation of the digital DJ stand in his front room

any DJ worth their salt is capable of working most if not all CDJs and mixers, and doesn't throw a hissy fit if it's not pioneer's latest

there are better mixers than the DJM800. And surprise, the better ones aren't all made by pioneer!

Just because the majority of clubs use it does not make it "the best". It's like saying that the majority of car owners in the UK have a ford focus, therefore it must be the best car ever
