Clubbed Up Radio presents Fresh Meat featuring Arthur Barr & Jim Ryan - Friday @ 8pm! This weeks Clubbed Up Radio welcomes the return of our illustrious Fresh Meat Shows…providing you with not one, but TWO ones to watch for the future! First up….Arthur Barr!! Arthur Barr has seen his DJ career over the past few years grow to huge proportions making him a force to watch out for in the future. Since gaining runners up position for the best up and coming DJ in Ibiza back in 2006 as voted for by the workers on the island, his Djing has spiralled into a frenzy in which he has become a regular fixture in clubs far and wide. His sets at Es Paradis and residencies in San Antonio set him up somewhat which resulted in him appearing twice as a guest on the notorious London House station HOUSEFM, and gigs taking him all over the UK including the opening party at the now legendary “Somewhere” outdoor terrace with Jo Mills, as well as two energetic performances at Mixmag’s Top club night Choobe in Lincoln, as well as features at Custard Factory, Cocoon and Ignition. Arthur created his own night at the tender age of 21, his successful night Wrongwayup in his hometown of Peterborough has been attracting the elite DJs of the scene. He was awarded the infamous IDJ Raw Talent Winning Mix. Both parts of his “for those who like the horsey” mixes have featured on radio stations and pod cast including HFM IBIZA and alongside guests such as Radioslave & Thomas Schumacher for Elektrotherapy. His Rolling driving style of Minimal Tech fused with progressive house earned him a residency for one of Londons up & Coming parties ASIF at the famous after-hours haunt PUBLIC LIFE, firmly becoming a favourite with the locals, and also up & Coming gigs in Portugal & Poland as well as returning to Ibiza this summer. Taking our CD Of The Week slot is Birmingham DJ Jim Ryan. This mix was instantly recognisable and a definite hit for the show due to its cool deep house groove which had quite a unique sound to it. Jim is no strange to clubs having been playing out for 8 years now including Circo Loco (Birmingham), Spectrum, Godskitchen and many more so it’s a pleasure to have a feature by him on the show. The show will hosted as usual by Danny Roberts and Steve Arnold, and will also feature two blasts from the pasts, co-presenters Tigger and Reds! The crew, first time they have all done the show together in years will project the usual club listings, top 3 tracks of the week, interviews and all the usual banter and shenanigans!
