Crappy Edinburgh

Can someone please help me scrape together some cash so i can build a superclub in Edinburgh. i know its a pretty crap city but there aint one here and i cant afford to come down to Newcastle every Friday.
Please make donations to the " clubbin in edinburgh is crap " charity and i will hopefully see u all soon in my new superclub.

Me mate is in the army and based in Edingburgh and he says it is canny in there !

Get yourself on the bus to bathgate mate about 15-20 mins just out of Edinbrough to Room at the top, ive never been but looks ok, thats the only super club around there. They have had some excellent line ups, and had the opening of Picottos new night 'Pulsar' there a few months ago. I think its just the residents this month.. but have a look.....

There is also some quality underground Trance/Techno nights going on Edinbrough, just got to keep your eyes open...

I've played up at The Honeycomb a lot and have to say it's a wicked club space. The trouble with Edinburgh is that it has very little in the way of a scene and what they have is very underground, plus the pubs stay open so late and the crowds are hideously affected by the movements of the student population. Summertime in Edinburgh is not a happy clappy place to be a promoter...
Do what all the best people have done. Find somewhere small, and most importantly cheap, and start your own party.

Ive been there and thought it was possibly the worst layout of a club ever. The main dance floor is surrounded by 2 huge big walls so if your not dancing you cant stand round the sides so u have to go the back, then at the back u cant really stand anywhere u have to go up some steps and after that, is where the main stream of people coming into the club and going to the bar so when its busy its a fookin nightmare. The next room was small with a bar and seats so if u didnt have a seat its was nightmare finding anywhere to go. The back room was ok but a small dance floor and again the rest was seats. Not my kind of place really.....

Aaaa yes it hasnt got the same flash as Godskitchen or Gatecrasher. And u really should leave those traffic cones alone....... "lightbulb" what a wicked name..... The traffic cone

And yes honeycomb is pants. Its too small and when they play some tunes all the beer boys see it as a signal to take their tops off.

might take ur advice c_kid. Never imagined bathgate as a clubbin place but what the hell. chupa chups at the ready!!!!

Oh yeah and Auz. Its called Eros and Elite and is the worst club ever. Imagine the worst club in the world, add every beer boy in the world, every ugly women in the world (who think their attractive so wear no clothes), then add sticky floors expensive drinks and A DRESS CODE and there u have it. ie Dont go

Na eros and elite is worse. at least ikon had SS which made it bearable. e&e has nothin that good.

Im guessing u mean the strip bar Bottoms Up. doesnt really play great music and the women cant dance.

Went to See Xpress2 @ the Liquid Rooms in Edinbrough on Saturday night and it was fookin class.
The Club its self isnt much, but it being a little dark dingy club just added to the atmosphere, had a top night even though i was still fooked from Friday at promise.
It was a colours night, i think its a start of a monthly thing, so look out for some good line ups

hey i walked past the rooms on saturday. wondered why the Q was soo big. No what u mean bout it though. its tiny and really grotty. Must b the first time they played descent muzic in there, its normally pish.
ill keep an eye open though nxt month. Cheers mate

naked is a wkd hardhouse night run in edinburgh by the lad who played last at the last ssne, phil york. im not sure when like, but it used to be on every thurs. i can find out for ya if ya like?

If i like??? Course i would like it. Then i could go out on thurs nite in Edinburgh, friday in promise and saturday in Gatecrasher.. wohooo
