    A company took payment, confirmed order, arranged deliver then CANCELLED the order cos this cant get mitts on the goods.

    I am under the impression the acts of the above enters them into a contact with me the customer to provide the goods.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Correct. If they can't provide the goods, they have to provide you with a full refund.

    of course they have to offer a refund, otherwise that would be simply theft.

    i think they are obliged to supply the goods once payment is taken, thats why normally most websites dont charge till dispatch

    Under basic Law once you transfer the money and they recieve it you have entered into a contract, he made an offer of providing you with the goods and you accepted by sending payment. So by law he should of had possession of the goods he was offering before taking payment from you
