Does anyone think there is much difference between having disco speakers or having some normal high what hi fi speakers???

(i know there will be a better range of sound with hifi speakers but what is better for dj stuff)

it all depends what you're after.

if you want the to use them for gigs, then you're best off getting an on spec. PA system put together.

If it's for home use then make sure you get speakers that match the amp an vice versa. as sound quality will be shit without the other, you're also highly likely to fuck either the speakers or the amp over. Usually the speakers as people normally end up getting amps that are too powerful.

Best advice would be to look at how you want your set up, a rough price then go to somewhere like richer sounds who'll sort you with a good spec to upset the neighbours.
