Glad to see the messageboard is back on form, we're getting loads of new members, lots of interesting topics and lots of useful feedback for the club... keep up the good work

but...

Lately the board has been filled with loadsa threads like "I'm not going to promise this week cos I'm going to red and black - where should we meet up" - where promise have no problem people talking about other clubs and even organising meet-up's on this board... it gets a bit cheeky when theres about 20 threads dedicated to one night and half the people saying they aint going to promise cos they're going to the other night.... its a tad cheeky

Also FAO's... We have PM's for private convo's - I've upped everyone's pm total to 200 messages, please if possible use pm's over FAO threads cheers

Its the most broing forum I've ever been on... but if people really want it? what si everyones thoughts...

We are dubious about opening loads of forums as we don't want loads of posts spread over loads of boards as it feels less busy - I think since we've tidied up the site it seems much busier

Its cheeky because unlike gurn.net promise is a message board put here to better promise... not better crasher... It takes the piss a bit when theres more postings dedicated to crasher than promise with people saying they're going to red and black but not promise.... a couple of threads organising a meet-up for red and black to find out who's going is cool but the read and black threads were probably into double figures. This week theres been threads for sundis, tall trees, red and black, solid, gk leeds, hotdog, etc.

It's like going on the Tesco website and telling everyone to shop at Marks and Sparks... Just a tad cheeky.

I know mark has no problem with people finding out who's going where - just don't take libertys

i dont think its takin libertys tho........people arn't trying to better crasha on here...they are either sellin tix or arranging meet ups ........i thought it was a board that was to aid social lives etc AS WELL!! We cant constantly post mssgs up about promise all the time...there aint enuff subjects to go round!

n its not TELLIN people they should go crasha rather than promise. EVERY1 who goes on here goes to promise n i think they are entitled to go to other clubs as well without feelin like they are dissin promise or summat.....which is how u make it come accross wen u put threads up like this!

No body is asking you to kiss promises arse - as much as the promise team like praise, they don't like arse kissers - no one does. This message board is here to better your social life, but more importantly it's here to better the club...

The websites main purpose is to give the promise team real feedback, which it has done very effectively, because of the messageboard a whole arsenal of DJ's have been booked. Not only does it better the club in that sense but it also has helped forge a unity among promise goers, there's a really friendly community which we have forged through the messageboard. This isn't a mesageboard dedicated to clubbing like say gurn.net or 4clubbers.net its a messageboard dedicated to promise.... promise being the key word here

This messageboard wasn't built to better your social life it was built to better your promise social life... no body is asking you to stop talking about other club nights... all that is being suggested is you try and respect that this is the "promise" messageboard.... When you have 20 threads dedicated to GK yellow and blue its a bit cheeky... you don't stand in sainsburys shouting tesco are selling branflakes 20p cheaper...

Naw I don't fink this is a problem Joe, as long as promise get lots of feedback as well (which I think they do) but as the board expands, more topics will get discussed...tis unavoidable...
more people = more topics!

But thinking bout it...I suppose other night's could be organised on a more neutral board...this is a 'PROMISE' board for 'PROMISE' nights...so maybe's it's a tad cheeky
