fave promise moment! As I am fairly new to promise and especially the website, i was wondering if uz could give some input on ya fave promise moments. Mine have been meeting JK, JK playin' born slippy at the end of his set, and of course, i had some good moments when picotto came. I love the lizard man, i do! Hope everyone is lookin' forward to friday!
erm think when the meet-up was going well that was pretty wikkid... erm but best moment was when mauro dropped joyenegizer and the fuct camera was pretty mind blowing oh and matt hardwicks entire set when pvd cancelled... fook it far too many good memories!
i think mine (the 1 i can remeber clearly) is when i was in the toilets and heard JK doin zombie nation, that was such a feeling!
i think mine so far has to b paul van dyk, twas amazin. It was a last minute decision to go that nite and we didnt know who was on and when we found out, the nite just got better n better! absolutely amazin! was fooked n all, as always!
2 many to mention in the past 18 months... favourite set has probably hardwicks when he played instead of pvd. how awesome was that..
god knows.....Scott Bonds first set i saw At Promise a long time ago was good.....LOADS recently....its all been fun...
my moment i was downstairs, on the steps by the front, soakin up all the atmosphere of this club which was very much alive.i bent down to get my water off the floor, and a lad next to me asked me for a drink. i obliged, and continued chatting to him aimlessly.we stood for a few minutes, totally engaged in each others conversation, relaxed, laughing, when we turned to each other, and we could hear zombie nation coming in slowly but surely. we looked at each other and smiled. That unmistakable feeling when you know someone is feeling exactly what you are. that hard, bassy beat sent shivers down my spine. more and more people were turning round and looking about to see who knew what was in the mix. the growing anticipation was amazing.knowing that everyone in the entire place was waiting for that first beat, and knowing we would all go mental when it went. he built it up, built it up until... HE DROPPED IT. an unbelievable tune for an unbelivable club, and here i was, hand in hand with a bunch of sweaty strangers, revelling in the blissed out closeness i felt to these people. yep, we went mental, and yep, i knew that i had a connection with every single person in the room at that moment. now that is special.
crazy malumite, what a tune.. i remember a long time ago when robbie nelson played, that was one of my favourites
sure is, it happens so often that feeling. no one was going into detail about thier moments yet that kind of thing just makes your night!loopsy doo
yup loos, i know that feelin, i love that feelin, n i was there when that feelin happened, only i was in the toilets (surprise surprise!) and was talking to some ppl, when i heard the first beat, convosation ended as we all knew we had to leave them toilets and get on the dance floor, i had to be on the dance floor when he dropped that, and when he did, my life seemed perfect, it was one of those moments when you feelo happy to be alive n you are4 glad that u are in promise with the ppl u r with, even tho i didnt no the ppl, it was one of the best moments of my life - total respect!!
