dawson out, upson in? walcott out, cole in? bent out, heskey in? Johnson out and parker out? carragher in? carrick in? too many defenders, why not, not take carragher and take either walcott, johnson or bent? i am disappointed to be honest, the biggest let doen in my eyes is taking upson ahead of dawson - for a manager that claims to only take players based on form, Dawson has been tremendous this year, and upson average at best.
All week the papers and tv press reported Adam Johnson as the best player in the squad as far as lighting up training sessions goes. That included the penalty session where he was the stand out burying every single one he took where as Joe Cole missed his first 3 of 5 attempts.
what have mr T and Darren Bent* got in common? the're both black, and not getting on no plane! (* Arsenal fans can simply change for Tom Huddlestone)
I'm really disappointed with the way he's done this. Capello has done everything right for me since taking over the England job. Now the whole situation with form and fitness makes him look weak. SWP for example... Johnson's been keeping him out at club level. Johnson's final ball is light years ahead of SWP, and he gets on the plane.... Heskey... done fuck all this season... on the plane.... Barry, even though he's had a good season, he's injured and it's going to take a couple of games to get back to 100%. I really would like to see Hart in goal for at least a 2 games.. . he's the future, and if he's not... the world cup will show that. Johnson is the main miss for me though. He's delivery for the strikers will defiantly be missed!!!!!!!
Because he's done nothing for England. Don't get me wrong i would have took him over Heskey (but i would have took Gabby Agbonlahor given the chance as well) but he's done nothing for England when he's had a chance. That's not Bent's fault mind, he always gets the rough end of the deal either playing against Brazil or playing in a team that is experimental and has little creativity in it so it doesn't give him a proper chance. Capello missed a few tricks with these warm up games but they are just that, warm ups so i still hold out faith until Rooney either gets injured or suspended then we are fucked.
