    Frank Bruno

    Has been sectioned.

It's a real shame, though the big guy was never all there nevermind the countless blows to the head (Tyson at his peak included).

I for one wish the big guy luck - one of the UK's old skool sporting heros.

    :king:

Mind did you see 'The Sun's' sympathetic headline yesterday:

"Bonkers Bruno is locked up", or sectioned...something like that

They accompanied this with a nice pic of Frank in some sort of genie’s panto costume.

Bet his family approved of that one:(

    it's started already:

    News just in:

The word on the streets at White Hart lane is that Frank Bruno has been offered the managers job, he has agreed a package of GBP34 per week, free yearly eye test, a 4 man tent and a plate of jam sandwiches.

Frank would not comment on the deal saying only "I must dash as I am riding the favourite in the 3:30 at Newbury"

Do feel sorry for him. But

They recon his problems are related to splitting from his wife as well as the boxing anyway! But if he loved her that much and is so devasted she left , he should of thought about his mental hea;th when he was beating her up!

    Fair point.

Suppose when you have been a boxer all your life, have had a daily training routine etc, for fifteen years or so, the fame it brings, then it stops when you retire...Frank just couldn't adjust back to "normal" life.

Can remember when he beat Oliver McCaul to get the title, crackin fight, was like, "go on Frank! Fuckin Nice one!"

But when he then fought Tyson (second time) - it was just plain surrender - did he even score one clear punch - he just froze...kind of soured his past acheivements...

Not making excuses but maybe he had mental problems during that period of his life too.

The Sun are in the shit tho. Had to change the headline for the second editions and even made newsagents rip off the front pages in some cases.

after all of the years of support they gave him this is ridiculus.
However I do remember a comment made, also by the Sun, saying that he was "mad" a while back when he told everyone he was getting back in the ring. The comment further went on to ridicule him.

    How can they do this.
    FCUKIN TWATS.
These journalists aint gonna win no prizes for their literary accomplishments so all they can do is cause hurt. not nice.
