my mate took back some cd's that he had for ages cos he was skint, didnt have a reciept and they refunded him stright away, funny thing ws one of them that he bought in a sale for a fiver was now only in on import which ws £18.99, so he got refunded that instead of the fiver....lucky sod

another mate used to buy the friends video packs from virgin and then take them back one at a time at HMV and get full refund for each video...

 when i was younger, me n mates used to take cds we'd got bored of back tro woolworths n get vouchers for full price n go n use them in mvc!! i once had a really old guns n roses tape... i bought it of a mate for £3, n the inlay card was ripped, n the case was just a TDK one from a blank tape... i got £10 for it!!:D
Worked out in total, we got about £110 in vouchers for for stuff "yeah i was given this as a bday pressie, n I dont really like it..." According to me, i was about 30 years old when i was only 15, i had about ten bdays in a month!!:p

WTF!!! How do you people sleep at night!?!? :p

Am I the only person who hates taking things back even with good reason? Always feel stupid. What do you say anyways... "hi, i've had this cd for 3 month, the case is cracked and to be honest i don't like it any more....can i have a refund!?!"

Its not that were tight it just that we don't agree with multinational companies ruling the market so we try and give the little shops a chance.

I keep buying vinyls that are bent and spin super fast on one side and dead slow on the other. I can never be bothered to go all the way back into town though to change them.
