How did you discover Promise??

I have young mr confuzzled to thank for it

i used to live and goto uni in newcastle.. it was my local

Erm... i used 2 go to the monday nite cheap drinx fests (still do every now n then) n i seen posters 4 it... was a while ago this tho.

N i decided i wanted sum proper music, instead of just cheap drinx!

So far i aint been dissapointed with my choice!

Went to see Robbie Nelson one night and to be honest was a good set - fuck knows when it was but i remember some blokes in the Que sayin that they were goin to Crasher the next night and i was like coz im sure @ the time i wanted to go but none of me mates were into that then - ahhhhh well times have changed since then and can safley say ive many a good night in Promise & Crasher @ that

Went to Crasher last september and a few people on the bus told me to go but never got round to it til January for John 00 Fleming and loved every minute of it so decided to start going all the time

Went on a Monday first and a few peops told it's class on a Friday! Went when PVD played - been going ever since!

from bein handed the very first flyer by someone in newcastle and finkin "ahh that looks good!"

it was down to constant perstering from marissa n Joe. Bless em.

My mate used to live in Kettering where Hard House rules all, when he moved back up here he got me back into the scene which i thought id lost, he started work at foundation told me about Promise and i havent looked back since!

A job well done

i went round town and sampled all the clubs.... baja, the boat, planet earth (now playrooms) fuck me i even went to charvKON and then i went to shindig on nite it was ok but we were told there was a better nite on fridays. this was about 18 months ago and have never stopped going to promise since. and i am still only 18 plenty of left in me

Was in newcastle for a mates birthday and PVD was advertised as playing so turned up (shame he didnt as well mind). But Matt Hardwick was on and played a mint set

Went along with lil'gem, and totally enjoyed it so we go whenever we can now.

Only went for the first time last year around June time I think to see Seb play. It was when the flyer was a light blue colour cause i got him to sign one. Sad I know

I first discovered Promise when a sign with the name "Mauro Picotto" on it caught my eye! And many know my love for this guy!
So I went down to Promise to see Picotto, really enjoyed it and have been going ever since!!!!!!!
And never looked back!!!!

came up here to uni in september and asked one of the people behingd the bar in our union if there was anywhere in newcastle like sugarshack in terms of the music policy and they told me promise, so went 4 the first time that friday for mr ornadel (remember that nite marissa haha!!) and have loved the place eva since!! xxx

Well, I've yet to go but I'm looking 4ward to going ASAP. I've always known it has existed, I just have never ventured there yet. It was Glitter Angel who really put the thought of going back into my mind tho.

Pilly Phil saved me from my boring social life, and I've been loving it ever since!

My first night at Promise was when Matt Hardwick played a 4 hour set instead of Paul Van Dyk, which was mint. Since then its been Glitter Angel,Ravemonkey and karl51 who have told me to stop relying on my unreliable m8s and go with them. And so i have. and now i go as much as i can !!!
