How did you get your nick?

I was just wondering how everyone got there nick names that they use on this forum, i'm sure there must be some funny stories out there some come on peeps, lighten up my weekend!!!

I got mine from DrHH last year at the GC Summer Sound System for.....well.....erm.......never mind!!!

Here we go!! Older peeps on this board will have seen my reason b4!!

Cyberdog was not always the superhero that he is today.

Cyberdog was once a baby chihuaua called chi-chi here on planet earth.

Orphaned by being stolen away from his mother by villainous kennel owners who were driven by greed from the lucrative underworld of dog smuggling.

They dognapped him in the middle of the night ....

They kept him locked up in a dark smelly kennel with nothing but spam to eat (a punishment in itself!)

They gave him no love or comfort, not caring that he was just a puppy and if he cried they would taunt him with cruel remarks about his big ears and eyes.

It was a grey time for chi-chi but their worst crime of all

-the one that grated on chi-chi the most was their appalling dress sense!

Chi-chi vowed from a very young age to seek avenge and to try to change this eyesore he was subjected to daily.

"there must be another way, something else that could be offered to dress these humans" chi- chi would say to himself.

So he fought back, not to be broken by his situation he spent his time running around his kennel and doing paw lifts on the bars of the door,

so despite his poor nutrition chi-chis' body grew strong and healthy and his eyes still sparkled with hope - he survived!

After chi-chi had been in the 'nowhere place' for a few months he began to feel very strange.He had started having dreams about escaping and they were becoming more and more vivid. This disturbed him a little as he didn't want to build up too much of a false hope, he knew that the dognappers would be trying to sell him on soon, but however much he fought them the dreams would not go away. It began to feel like he was waiting for something inevitable - something was coming - little did he know that he was not far from the truth!

Out in the 8th galaxy a hymbug was transmitting telepathic thoughts throughout the universe, which was nothing special as this had been a past time of his for many light years. However today was becoming a little different because today he heard a small thought coming through from a far away galaxy - the milky way in the 17th galaxy. The hymbug listened with great interest as it wasn't often he heard thoughts from this particular area as it was one of the newer underdeveloped galaxies where their was still so much to learn and accept to start communicating on this level. The small voice was big in attitude and was creating strong force waves until in the end the hymbug could hear none other. "this is the one i've been waiting for" he thought.

Each hymbug had a mission to catch his tuner and send him on his progressive journey to learn and bring back to his world his new found knowledge and wisdom, at last it appeared that he had found his.

He scanned his mind for the stored information on this galaxy, "the planet earth is in the correct orbiting position to sustain life at the moment" he recalled - he hovered in excitement - then faster than 10 light years he sped towards the direction of the voice.

Chi-chi knew that today was the day he didn't understand how he knew but he suspected that this was why his fate had bought
him to this miserable place - his time was coming.

When the hymbug arrived at the kennel from hyperspace there were no outspoken words but telepathically he explained that chi-chi had been chosen as he had looked for another way to approach something. this type of being became messengers to their worlds and would in turn play a great part in the advancement of their home planet. The humbug went on to say that only when a being began to search for themselves was a being from another galaxy allowed to intervene and help with the advancement On the whole each planet had to learn its own path of evolution by trial and error so to be ready to accept and understand it.

This planet the hymbug explained needed something different to offer the progressive youth, something to reflect where they were at now. not more retros from the past but something for the present and as this planet was in the delinquent era at the moment and was experiencing great changes in technology, this was where chi-chi would find the answers.

Chi-chi would be given a cybershuttle that could transport him to his destinations. all he needed to learn from each adventure would be pre-arranged and that all he needed to do was to continue to be brave, resourceful and receptive to all that he would see in the cyberworlds before him.

Anything he needed to know would be taught to him by the electronic tutor that he would be plugged into during his journey from this galaxy until the first stop. during his flight he would be fed information on all known galaxies and life forms. he would be taught over 13 million forms of communication and customs. Electrical impulses would be gently given constantly so that his body developed drastically and become cybernetically modified. Various forms of techno music would be played to enhance the experience - he would feel in ecstasy! He would awake with all the knowledge he needed and be fully developed to equip him for his mission, which was to stay one step ahead in the future of fashion and bring back his ideas to his human friends.

Meanwhile......
a team of technoblabs would be cloned to become part of the missions' crew

(navigator and the tallest, clumsiest of the bunch)

(the smallest and by far the genius whiz kid of the four, although his position was only ever disclosed a being the skipper!).

Preta
(system programmer and the only female on this mission),

Chi-chi was trembling with anticipation
as the hymbug transported him deep into the circuit core of cyberspace to the cybershuttle.

well!! there is ONE hell of a story behind mine!!!

i kinda got my christian name and miracuriously derived NICK from it! and, to this day, i'm still baffled as to how i did such a thing!!

does this post stink of sarcasm or what?!

there was this kd at school, he was 2yrs or 3yrs below us, we were gcse year... he came and stood next to us one dinner time, counted to 5 then jumped on a can... we took him under our wing, teaching him swear words and that he fancied my mates sister... then we started makin reverse charge calls to him, sayin it was "billyloner" and talkin bollocks... we'd nick pens from his bag and throw em on the grass and waittil he noticed - a guanranteed laugh! once ordered him a pizza, i even gave directions to the guy when he drove up the road! we'd persuade him our family were ill and he'd give us dinner money which we'd spend on sweets... basically tho, my name sprung from who we used to tell him it was when we was on the phone...

well, as any1 who knows me will tell you, i never leave the house without glitter on, and im an angel!

I got mine cos when i first started chatting online i needed a 'handle' and i was a HUGE x files fan (still am ) so i just stole it off there cos i wanted to be amix between mulder and scully, a medical examiner/doctor who believes!
