How does cashback work? Anybody know how this works? Just bought a laptop and after 30 days I can claim £100 back through a website. Why/how are they able to do this? Much cheaper than anywhere else on the internet this way.
Its just another marketing channel (affiliate marketing) that runs along side display, search, tv, magazine etc. You buy the laptop through a publisher (cashback site) Affiliate network records that publisher referred the sale Affiliate network tells advertiser (laptop shop) Advertiser pays affiliate network for sale (AN takes a cut) Network passes on payment to publisher (who take a cut) Publisher pays you
I don't get it. Cashback website: http://www.lenovocashback.com/ laptop shop: http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/ Which is which on there?
