ikon, wud u giv it a chance? has any1 been 2 ikon now that its relaunched? i went 4 a m8s birfday yesterday and it is fookin fenominominal inside!! absolutely hyoooooj! shame they dont hav a decent club nite runnin things cos the music is cheesy as owt!

I me and Maverick went last week, and it was pretty impressive inside, they have done it all up. It is still full of idiots and the music was not as cheesy as it use to be, but no chip off Promise!!
I used to luv when SSNE was at ikon. Had some of my bestest nites there. Much beta than Cuba Cuba. Wouldnt go on a ordinary nite though unless there was some1 good on
i was totally expectin loadsa charvas but i didnt c many actually! mite do it again for a laff but promise beats it hands down
Me and me mates have talked bout this many a time and suppose it makes sense - with a bit of investment Ikon could be the best Nightclub in Newcastle - i know first impression is "No way" but when ya think bout it in there there is enough space for 2 floors aint there if ya boxed the dancefloor off sort of thing - the fact at the moment is maybe the people that get in and it can get canny imtimidating @ times where a "Wanna fight" maybe heard instead of "Sorry mate never meant to bump into ya" - the music is cheesy too where ya more likely to hear the "Airscape" remix of every tune other than the better one !! Personally the venue has the makings of a good club - i mean wouldnt we all like to see that place rammed with Matty H behind the decks - sadly tho i dont think it will ever happen not without thousands of pounds anyway and by doin that and banning the regulars who may cause trouble / drug deal your takin away what makes money for the club arent ya ! Its a shame really coz it could go places with some thought !
Exactly, my work mates use to go there and they say it has always been the same, I know one of the big boys on the doors there and he said they are trying to stop the idiots from getting in, but they can only do so much

No matter what you try n do in Ikon, all the charvas are still gonna turn up in there millions!! Even at Sundissential NE, which was wicked, there were loads of Chravas about, slaggin off "clubbers" Oh, n that laser that puts a picture of a 20 ft dick with Spunk coming out... NO!!
