all the news here today is talking how jumpstyle has taken holland,belgium,france and germany by storm.

for me some tracks are ok but its all a bit tedious after a couple of records.
but all jumpstyle parties are selling out in a single day with regular events for 5000ppl to 15,000ppl...
this is surprising as most dutch people i know just make fun of it

Just sounds like a bouncier version of hardstyle to me

hard to see it but if the 2 biggest populated countries in europe are going crazy about it then i dont see why not,in holland most of the big events are already making jumpstyle dj's a regular booking (sensation,defqon,q-base,dance valley,misteryland etc )
plus its mostly very young people that have taken to it so big,in france and germany ALL the 14-20 yr olds are going mental for it !

the news is showing kids all over dancing to it in the school playgrounds and in car parks etc..

Think you^re getting a bit carried away there like. Holland has one of the smallest populations in europe, and they arent exactly a nation of trend setters. Just cos the dutch and the flemish belgians are going to a few parties doesnt mean the music is set to become bigger than all other genres.

I'm in France or Germany almost every weekend though, and watch French news most mornings, and haven't heard about it at all.
