yeah can you post the details....also i heard they ask for amateur and bedroom djs only.... is this true?? and how do they define the difference between amateur and semi pro???
ok guys heres what I know so far..... It was going to be held this month, but due to few entries they have delayed it & so theres still time to enter. Its £10 to enter but you don't pay out money until the night your on, so if u chicken out @last minute you've not payed anything u jus fillin the form @kiss & they'll send u details of Equipment set-up /set lenght ect which I am still waiting for Ya fizz its for amateurs only, so long as your not booked for regular gigs you can enter. Thats all I know, they really hav'nt sent me anything else.
1ST Prize: Holiday for 2 to Ibiza nice!!!! & you do your set @SEA & it gets a airing on Galaxy (you'll be well on your way) 2ND Prize: £250 3RD Prize: can't remember btw, the last comp they did, I knew one of the judges & he told me no prizes were gave out!!
I was informed this morning... I am on in a few wks, but my m8 said he's on next wednesday, they said you play for 30mins & theres 8 ple playing that night. your playing on 12/10's Your judged on use of mixer nobs n stuff, crowd reaction & mixing obviously!! So for crowd reaction, would you play pumping house or commercial house?? ple like records they know, so wat to do???
