Teaming up with vocalist Johnny Def 1, they weigh in a vocal and instrumental that are astounding. True to their style “Taking You Back" kicks off as hard hitting as possible with delicate yet powerful sequences twisted around a deep wobbly and rumbling techno bass. The haunting and eerie vocal creeps in adding a persistent sense of funk to the track, and it’s undoubtedly this groove that really pitches it as a dance floor winner.
