I had a mate hit by a metro a few years back at Manors. Some lads jumped on him and left him unconcious on the tracks. Lost his legs from the knee down. Not a pleasant time.

i wouldnt have said he was mortal like kerry, most people who are hit by trains do it on purpose, an easy way to go (but very selfish)

you have got to be extremely drunk to accidently fall off a platform infront of a train, no matter how pissed you are theres somethin there that kinda says "no lets be careful a trains coming"

Imo people who jump infront of trains is the cowards way and it makes the person who is driving the train feel as thou he 'is responsible, want to kill urself jump off a bridge or buy some rope.

yup the driver will also be questioned straight away by police to see if they could have done anything to prevent it, they will be affected by it for months n months, may even give up the job. Not nice at all.

yes it wud be traumatising for him interogated to fuck because some fruit cake decided to do a star jump infront of a 40mph train.Its a different story if it was a car but imagine trying to stop a train suddenly.
