Orange are doing trials with 215 call centre workers in India. If they do well or the cheapness is worth it then I reckon MarcE & his crew will be DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!

Hundreds of call centre staff are facing an uncertain future after bosses announced they are moving jobs to India.

More than 1,800 staff at the Orange call centre on the Silverlink, North Tyneside, have been told the mobile phone firm is looking to use call centre workers in India.

The company has begun trials in which 215 call centre workers will answer calls in India.

It is understood if the trials are successful Orange plans to move 1,500 jobs from across Britain overseas
